Wine Marketing


Gosh! is a niche marketing consultancy specialising in uplifting the wine industry’s digital presence using measurable and cohesive marketing solutions. Born out of a visible need to provide marketing guidance, the goal is to connect producer to consumer with simple, affordable solutions specialised for the wine and lifestyle industry. Having worked on the client side, the consultancy business model intends to keep costs down by outsourcing and collaborating with highly specialised individuals such as graphic designers and web developers only as needed. The Gosh! philosophy and approach to work is that all wine communication needs to be approachable, fun and accessible - no matter the entry point. Wine is made for drinking after all - not talking up in a silo.

Gosia is a Polish born, South African raised marketing consultant and copywriter, currently living and working in Cape Town. She founded Gosh! in 2018 to help fill the gap between digital marketing and wine and lifestyle brands. Before starting her own business, Gosia worked as Marketing Manager at Fairview Wine and Cheese under the celebrated marketing dynamo Charles Back. In 2015, she graduated with an MSc in Wine Business from the Burgundy School of Business. Her first Masters is an MA in Media and Journalism from UCT. In 2017, she was titled the South African Young Wine Writer of the Year. She is also a qualified wine judge and in her spare time, creates content with her best friend on their co-owned, curated wine website and developing brand, Glou Glou - a blog that talks about wine, for real human beings. Her passion is, and always will be, to make wine accessible and fun at all entry points.

Today, Gosia loves to collaborate with brands that resonate with her philosophy. She approaches her work in a thought out, strategic manner, invests in every project she takes on, and prides herself in finding each brand’s unique voice.


Gosia is super smart, disciplined and principled. She carries her insights and gifts lightly and is generous and inclusive in her approach, taking joy in collaboration. Her strategic and pro-active approach ensures aligned action and offerings that are authentic and resonate with the people who love the brands.

Past Work Experience


Gosia was responsible for managing and implementing marketing and strategy for Charles Back owned brands, including Fairview Wine, Fairview Cheese, Spice Route Wine and Piekenierskloof Wine, as well as working alongside partnerships such as Back’s, Willoughby’s, Daily Dish and The Yard. 

She was the point person for all things content related and supported the execution of fluid multimedia marketing initiatives across South African and international markets, which often involved creative ideation, strategy development and production planning. 

She helped the brand grow its competitive edge nationally by driving the implementation and continuous development of the Wine Club and Online Shop.
